What to Expect on Your First Visit

Before
Above you will find a health/dental history questionnaire for each member of your family. Please complete all of the necessary information for each prospective patient, and bring the forms with you to your first visit.

During
The first 10 minutes of your appointment has been scheduled to verify and enter all pertinent patient information. New patient appointments consist of a full oral exam and evaluation by both a hygienist and a doctor. Your first appointment may or may not include a cleaning.
Please plan ahead for a minimum of 90 minutes for this appointment.

For Kids
The usual age for the first visit, "Happy Visit," is between the ages of 3 and 4 years old. On the first visit:

• The child sits in the chair
• Is introduced to strange sounds
• Meets the doctor
• May have an exam (depending on child's acceptance)
• Visits the treasure chest
  
• Receives a new tooth brush and coloring book
